Edging Past Reality is a collection of short stories. The character could be your kids, neighbors or even you. The things that happen to these characters is sometimes very frightening. As I read each story, I found that it was impossible to predict what was going to happen next. As a result, I had to read the entire book in one setting. I enjoyed the book but do not recommend it for children. It is scary stuff and sometimes graphic.Â
These stories truly are written "on the edge". Sometimes they border on the paranormal. Well most of the time they do. :)
The author writes so the reader can actually see in their mind just what the characters are doing. I will have nightmares all night tonight now.
Â
I rate this book a 4 1/2 star and recommend it to adults and older teens who like the paranormal and enjoy horror reading. I would give it a 5 star but the stories are so short. I wished they were longer. This book would be great when you just have a few minutes to read and want to get a whole story read.

Hope you can make the live chat tonight.
I hope you enjoyed your live chat. :)
You are a very talented author. I told you that. We just need to get you some more publicity for your new book. :)
Did you sleep with your head covered up after reading a scary story? :)
I did and still kept reading them.
Do you like to read scary stories?
I've seen every book that Steven King has made into film. Except for "Thinner" because they messed up on that movie big time.
I had watched scary movies since I was very young.
These were really short stories. David says these stories are not scary but what does he know... he only wrote them. LOL They are scary.
I remember when I was a kid and Dracula was a big hit movie. I slept with my head covered for weeks. LOL
Thanks for having such a wonderful group. I love to read.
