Angelina Jolie movie: Actress will play exotic Cleopatra! Will Brad Pitt play Marc Anthony???

This summer we'll all see Angelina Jolie play a CIA agent in Salt. Later on though, the actress take on a more historical role. According to RadarOnline.com, Angelina Jolie will play the Egyptian pharaoh, Cleopatra. The movie is based off Stacy Shiff's biography, Cleopatra, A Life. Shiff says, "physically, she’s perfect", in regards to Jolie taking on the role.

In our history classes we learned that Cleopatra was stunningly beautiful. If this is true, I would say physically Angelina Jolie is a great fit for the role! Looks aside, she has the acting chops for it. Her role in the Oliver Stone flick Alexander, could come in handy for her new film. Playing Cleopatra will probably be a breeze though, compared to her role as Queen Olympias. At least this time around she doesn't have to play with snakes!

I'm curious to know who will be cast as Marc Anthony and Julius Caesar. Maybe Angelina Jolie's real life lover Brad Pitt will step in for one of the roles? Naaaw...doubtful. Angelina and Brad might have chemistry, but I can't picture him in this movie. But I do think Gerard Butler and Sam Worthington would be excellent choices as the two leading men!
