Perhaps she wanted to end the rumors swirling that she and Spencer's split is a publicity stunt, but on June 7th, Heidi Montag filed papers at the Santa Monica Courthouse asking for a legal seperation from Spencer Pratt citing cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split.
