I've been in total "Do It Yourself" mode for this wedding.. so far.. the projects I have lined up to DIY are:
- Wedding invitations
- Party favors
- Place cards
- Table numbers
- Wedding programs
- Thank you cards
- Shower invitations
- Shower favors
- Shower thank you cards
It's insane.. but I love it.
I'm saving money by just buying the supplies and printing these things myself.. but I think that in terms of labor.. the money I saved getting someone to do it.. is made up by the amount of time that I'm putting into it..
Did anyone else DIY elements of your wedding?
I'd love to hear advice about how to tackle it all.. or even horror stories about it.. and especially the success stories..
Tell me.. tell me!

We decorated and set up for our wedding the night before we got married with our maid of honor and our best man and took them out to dinner afterwards. It was my second marriage and his first so I carried him over the threshold. :)
I think you will enjoy your wedding a lot doing it yourself, but try not to overwhelm yourself.
Good luck and God Bless You!
When you're making the table arrangements, favors, invites, etc., just sit in front of the TV and fill those bags; cut the onion skin paper; fold the pages; etc. Before you know it, you'll be done!
