This week on Season 1, Episode 21 of Glee, the members of the club bring on the "Funk"!
The show starts off with Rachel discovering that Jesse has returned to "Vocal Adrenaline" and that they've taken over the McKinley stage for "practice". The opposing team opens the episode with a provocative song and dance version of "Another One Bites" the dust. Ouch. If that's not a slap in the face to your ex-girlfriend, I don't know what is. Artie refers to VA's performance as a "Funk-i-fa-cation". Show the opposing team what you go to get them into a "funk". But their team is about to turn their "funk" into something fun.
The opposing school team isn't the only thing to worry about. Once again, Sue Sylvester is back to crush the kids' hopes and dreams. But this time, Will's strategy to go against her is one he's never used before.
Will also has to worry about the other nasty woman in his life who puts him in a "funk" -- the ex-wife. We haven't seen her in a while, but she's back. This week she brings out her inner cougar.
(For those of you out there who love Puck as much as I do, you'll be happy to know he has more than two lines in this episode!)
