The 400 Calorie Fix is a new diet and book by the people who bring you Prevention Magazine. It claims you can lose up to 11 pounds in 14 weeks and still enjoy your favorite foods. Enjoy a slimmer and healthier summer, and try this diet with me.
The idea behind the 400 Calorie Fix is to eat three or four 400 calorie meals per day. It's a non-gimmick eating plan that keeps the metabolism fired up while cutting calories. The result is sensible weight loss.
If you want to lose your weight a little bit faster, the 400 Calorie Fix features a 2-Week Quick Slim Diet that requires a 1200 calorie intake of just three 400 calorie meals per day, along with some moderate exercise.
My husband has to lose some weight fairly quickly in order to have surgery in a few weeks. I may order the book "The 400 Calorie Fix" and try it out for both of us. I'm told it is only available at Prevention.com and isn't yet available in book stores.
I think I could do 1600 calories a day, but would definitely want to try the 2-Week Quick Slim for a bit of an encouraging head start.
Have you heard of the 400 Calorie Fix? Do you know anyone who has tried it?
