Sunrise clear and lustrous is the sky, I am expecting Sir cloud and friends and family will arrive before long, but only to decorate a clear and delightful blue sky!

Good morning, J! We are both having the same weather again today! I awoke to bright sunshine but the clouds have already moved in. We had really bad thunderstorms late last night and the chance of a few more today......At least, the temps are much more seasonal and much more to my liking...it's currently 66 with an expected high of 72! My kind of weather!

Another voice from PA checks in. Supposed to be in the high 70s here in Murrysville (outside Pittsburgh) today with showers/thunderstorms possible later in the day. This after my AC has been repaired and my house is no longer 82 or 83 degrees in late afternoon and evening. I suffered through till I couldn't take it anymore. Couldn't open windows - screens aren't in yet. Plus, I am allergic to anything that grows from spring till fall, so pollen is also an issue. Rest of weekend is supposed to be highs in the 80s with chance of storms again late Monday.

We are free of possible T-storms till Tuesday so I do like that. No allergies for me I have them under control and AC I never use mine, I find a fan and dark rooms work just fine! Barb, I do love your sense of humor and a safe Memorial day to you and your family!

Thanks so much. And I wasn't joking about the white shoes. I am strict about that rule and so is my sister. In fact, we email each other about this time of year and then again for Labor Day to question/remind each other about it. In my world (not always the real world, mind you), one should not wear white shoes before Memorial Day or after Labor Day unless one is a baby, a nurse, a waitress, or a bride. Of course, nurses don't wear those nifty white dresses with the caps and capes anymore, so the white hose and shoes aren't a choice for them. Waitresses are more prone to wearing black pants now and white shoes are glaringly wrong with them.

This sounds like it would make a good article maybe you should post your tradition and adherence to seasonal dress. I do try very hard to stick to the weather.

Good morning J, a late one for me just got up 10 minutes ago, Danny graduates today,it's 7:51 am and currently 63 with an expected high of 79 and sunny all day. I'm glad Danny's graduation will be outside, he is giving a speech because he is the salutatorian. I am bursting with pride. Have a wonderful day my friend, hope you are feeling a bit better with that pain issue.

What terrific shots of the sunrise. Weather here has been pleasant today but it is starting to look like rain. I saw a ticker on the tv that there will be thunderstorms with big hail.

A beautiful day here, cool when we wake up and then the sun burns off the haze and by noon it's in the 80's. After the sun goes down the temperatures will dip to the 70's and overnight into the high 60's. Tomorrow it will be the same.
