Check out this new TV spot for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse featuring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. In the commercial, we see Bella talking to her mom. Her mother says, "You're different with him. He moves, you moves. Like magnets." She seems unsure whether or not the relationship with Edward is good for her daughter, but appears to want the best for her. What is best for Bella? Edward Cullen or Jacob Black? At the end of the ad, Bella cries out, "I don't want to lose you!" to a person not shown in the scene. I believe she's talking to Jacob, but it could go either way. For her, the best thing is to have them co-exist in her life, if possible.
Bella's tangled web with Edward and Jacob leads one to wonder about relationships. Which is more important -- sharing an intense love with a person, yet knowing it is dangerous and won't last forever or having a loyal friend who will be there for you no matter and is willing to protect you?
I say go for the intense love connection! That's what life all about. You take chances, run risks, and live life to the fullest. There's nothing like the feeling of being in love. But is Bella just being young, dumb and in love by putting Edward ahead of everyone and everything in her life?
