'Modern Family' Star's Breastfeeding Pic Causes...

Click On Detroit: Actress Julie Bowen of ABC's hit sitcom "Modern Family" has landed herself in the spotlight for a controversial photo depicting herself breastfeeding her young twins.

The photo, which Bowen took herself, has caused a stir of various reactions.

"George Lopez Tonight" chose to display the picture when the actress made a guest appearance on May 17.

Bowen light-heartedly spoke about the photo with Lopez, describing
it as "the double-football hold" and that her new babies "suck the fat
out of you."

ABC's "The View" refused to air the picture along with Bowen's guest appearance back from September of 2009.

A spokesman from the station claimed it inappropriate for the show's
daytime slot, saying it had "too much nudity." Instead, the actress
mimicked the photo by using two dolls. Bowmen's twins recently
celebrated their first birthday.

Out of all the ways boobs are used for advertising (and selling pop stars), that aren't thought of as controversial anymore, to use them for what they're there for should be no big deal, ha ha ha

I think a woman feeding a baby is natural. I think it is a beautiful sight. As far as showing it on daytime television I don't see the bother with it. I mean some of the outfits that they wear on the show could be deemed more inappropriate than this picture. To each their own!

I don't understand why people are so uncomfortable with breastfeeding. You see just as much breast in a Victoria Secret commercial that airs all day and night on TV.

ok where is she at home and she shot itherself this is good, she showing love for the babies.. now in the middle of somewhere no way,, I see nothing wrong with this

I applaud Julie Bowen for taking the time and making the effort to breastfeed her twins. I am sure it isn't easy to breastfeed twins. It certainly must be a labor of love. Why is the public weirded out for seeing breasts as they were intended to be used?
