In a few weeks we are taking the kids to Disney.........on that note we have 3 dogs that we have to board.  I will not subject "friends" to the insanity that I live on a daily basis with 3 dogs and 3 cats and 3 kids.  LOL  If I asked any of my friends to care for my pets I don't think they would be my friend after that....

So, the dogs were just due for their shot updates and it is A LOT cheapter to take them to Petco for the shots.  I've never done this before, Chris told me about it, so I braved the adventure and went to Petco with 3 dogs and 2 kids..............

Chris was working and I think it was planned this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER AGAIN!!  Not only is Chyna too old to tolerate other dogs, Izzy wanted to jump on and lick every animal and person within a 2" radius!!!  Beau was happy wagging his tail until ANY other dog came near him.   Ummmm we're in line with about 30 other people and BIG DOGS!!  We got there 30 min early and were 3rd in line.....WOW......

Even though we were 3rd in line it took 30 min to get the shots and then another 30 min to check out.  The lady taking the payments talked like seasoned worker but acted like it was her first day!!! 

Luckily the kids knew I was struggling so they were very very good.  I was struggling to keep ALL under control.

The good news is that we survived and the dogs are all set and tonight I'm going to have a glass of amareto and OJ.

I won't even tell you about the rest of the day.....lol  lol

I know the feeling!

I no longer even walk the three of them all at once. They are well behaved walkers but you just never know when something might happen, like a loose dog or something. So I take them one at a time.

oh my, it sounds like so much fun. suddenly the horses and cows next door are looking pretty good. they just moo, nicker, eat, and poop, and no clean up involved. will write later.

When my parents first moved to Florida I came along to help them. We moved here a bit later. They had two dogs and three cats. Three days in a car with them had me on the roof.

Going be warm and bring an umbrella, but you are going have a great time. We are meeting our kids and grandkids there in August. Even hotter. Disney is only a three hour drive for us and we go once or twice a year.

oh my...sounds like you had an adventure without going to Disney. Lol. glad the kids were at least well behaved for ya. Have fun at Disney, always wanted to go, never been there.

kids are 10 and almost 6....dogs are 11, 1 and 1..........cats are 5, 4 and 2....they are all like my kids. lol

Sounds like it was crazy. Was it a fair of some sort because that is a lot of pets at once? When we went there, we had an appointment and there was us and one other person and then someone arrived for their appointment as we went in.

I stayed in a Best Western in Orlando with a 90 lb Weim once.I was just there for a business thing. That was a trip to remember.The dog was cool; trusted me. I just put a note on the door and that was that. We had fun smelling the
weird Orlando smells together.

Have fun! Never been to Disney, nor have my kids. I, myself growing up, only theme park I went to was Indiana beach and the smoky mts. We were poor and couldn't afford Disney and stuff like that.

I never went either until my Dad started working there in the early 1990's. My daughter was 3 the first time we went. My boys who are 10 and 5 have never been. MY Dad is retired so no longer works there or gets free passes anymore. :(

Hi Danielle. I'm back after a long fiasco with my hands and wrists. I really hope you enjoy your trip to Disney. We took Andy about 5 years ago during the July 4th. holiday. I can't say I would recommend Holiday visits there to anyone during the 4th. We are going to Tennessee this year and are going to board our dog (Trinity 4) for the first time. I'm worried about how she will handle being boarded. She is constantly by my side. Yet, I don't want to leave her home with a neighbor to take care of her again. The last time she tried to eat the carpeting. I wish you a safe happy trip.

Been quite a while since I've been there. Took my kids in '74, now they take their kids and it won't be all that long before my grandkids take their kids. Build those memories. When you get older they are treasures
