Graduation and Sports awards clashed.

My granddaughter Cheyenne graduated 8th grade last night and Branden and I were planning on going. Then 3 days ago we got the notice that they were having Branden's Sports awards on the same night. I felt so bad that's what happens when you have so many in different schools. Since Branden lives with me and his dad had to work and his mom doesn't go to anything, I had no choice. My daughter sent me pictures and she was lovely. I'll have to do something special with her to make up for not being there.

The coach made a nice little speech with lots of compliments when he gave Branden his awards. He's worked hard and I was very proud of him.

Branden with his awards. We had a dessert buffet instead of a dinner. Everyone left with a sugar high but it was so good.

I know it was a hard choice to make and I'm sure Cheyenne understood.There is just 1 of you and not enough to go around sometimes.They are both great looking kids.
The sadest part of all of this with Moma Sue and Sassy is when my Dad died I lost my other boston terrier Runt so it was another bad blow for me.But as I stated they needed a good dog for awhile and I had to share with them.

Another great post my friend. This is the time of year when you would like to temporarily clone yourself! Your granddaughter is a cute little girl and Branden is a handsome young man. You should be proud of both!
