The cover of the latest issue of OK Magazine reads: "Rob's Marriage Proposal: How Rob surprised Kristen on set and brought her to tears" with a photo of our beloved Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart next to the headline. The teaser on the website claims the couple got into a huge fight during this month's reshoot in Vancouver when Rob missed his flight and showed up late on the set...because he was partying at a strip joint days before. (Hmm, that doesn't sound like the R-Patz we've come to love.) The OK! website urges its readers to pickup the latest issue of the mag to discover how the couple went from "feuding to fawning over each other".
Rather than pickup the magazine, I went straight to Gossip Cop to find out what was going on. It turns out the cover story is misleading. The rumor buster website claims that Rob showed up in Vancouver on time for the re-shoot. That disproves part one of the story. Second, the site states that OK! uses the following wording in its story on the Twilight couple:
“Rob told Kristen he wants to spend the rest of his life with her — period." The magazine ads, “He’s proposed they’ll get married one day. He knows Kristen will make a perfect wife and can’t imagine being with anyone else.â€
As Gossip Cop points out, notice that nowhere in this statement does it say that Rob says, "Kristen, will you marry me?" or that he asked her hand in marriage. Sorry folks, unlike their Eclipse characters, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are not necessarily getting engaged.
Is it just me, or is anyone else sick and tired of the tabloids starting rumors about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship? These two are young and dating is more than enough for them to handle right now. Let them enjoy the success of their careers and getting to know each other. They don't need to get married just yet!
Are you tired of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship being exaggerated? What rumor about these two bothers you the most?
