May 17, 2010 Dancing With the Stars Performance: Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Viennese Waltz and the Paso Doble.
DWTS is now in the semifinals stage so tonight's episode has the contestants dancing two rounds again: a latin round and a ballroom round.
Andrews and Chmerkovskiy's Viennese Waltz was a far cry at least in energy from their Argentine Tango last week when Andrews did her huge jump.
This time around the pair danced gracefully and in rythm in a more subdued and soft way. She did a great job and together they pulled off a great performance and ended up scoring 27 out of 30 points... 1 point less than last week.
Unfortunately during the judging stage, Bruno held up the ten paddle when he meant to hold up the 9 paddle but since he had entered 9 and said 9, the team got 9.
Their Paso Doble didn't seem to go as smoothly as their waltz, at least not to me. I also saw a slight stumble near the end but the judges ended up giving them 29 out of 30 points and their total score for the entire night was 56 out of 60 points.
