It looks like you have quite a few questions alreay ask. We better get busy!
My first novel with my current publisher was HOLLYWOOD SINNERS.
I'm off to bed (and I won't say a word about your kilt and ****) Have fun tonight!!!
Elizabeth
I do hope you are feeling better tomorrow
I don't know how long it all adds up to.
but I'm sure she's too young to read Peter's stuff lol
My passion for Joan Crawford? You notice! ha ha
Short answer: Joan Crawford was around Hollywood from the silent era to the 70s. I like stars who last and last and work so hard to stay on the top all while they're at it. That's inspirational to me.
To me, she was the best star to fashion a novel around.
Peter even started a few groups on another site just for Hollywood sinners and Joan Crawford
Or don't you do anything that's typical or routine?
Do you have a Kindle?
I have a Sony Ereader and I love it.
I love the Sony Ereader because you can sign out books from the library on it and you cannot the Kindle.
I just write when I write. And jot down notes on bits of paper when I'm away from the computer. I get ideas in the bathtub and while tossing and turning in the night. Ideas are funny that way (and writing a novel is really just gathering up lots and lots of ideas). It's an all day and all night thing.
For now I'm just a paperback writer, ha ha ...
I use Adobe Digital Editions, which does not require a device. I have been using it for a couple of years....am a huge book fan, but am slowly moving to e reading. I think I have about 20 ebooks.
Mr. Lettuce asks in an earlier comment.
Peter, what your favorite type yarn to spin,
One that's serious or makes us grin?
Did you get my email reminder of this chat?
We are having a chat tomorrow with editor and author Shirley Ann Howard
She is Peters editor.
My editor is Shirley Ann Howard. She is a Boston-based author. Read about her at www.ShirleyAnnHoward.com
I am so glad you made it.
I welcomed you above but did not want you to miss it. :)
He sure makes an entrance when he arrives. . . . that is for sure. LOL
Peter,
do you have any of them posted on Gather?
Are they in post form or photos? I will check them out if you will lead me there. LOL
Punk Minneapolis was going to be this May but got changed to October - publishers can do that, ha ha
So now October is "soon"
You must be so dissappointed
I do both. I think that I first know kinda sorta what I want to do, but then once I'm into it - forget it. New ideas have come in along the way that change everything. If I wrote the end first then I usually have to delete it and write the new and improved one.
At a pizza place in uptown Minneapolis, scenesters and a psychic try very hard to find the next cool party and a pure state of punk living in the summating year of 1989. Their overripe imaginations (and beer) bring out bizarre fatal accidents, memories of once being devil possessed, and a vengeful ghost of a hippie who had overdosed.
There are only 15 minutes left in this chat so make sure you ask those questions that you want answers too.
I have been waiting for information on your new book! Unless I missed it in the comments above. Do tell!
it's mentioned along here, here and there ...
Peter, you obviously did a lot of research into Joan Crawford's actual life story. How much fact did you use in the book, and how much did you embellish?

I would like to thank each of you for attending. It has been a great chat. Thanks so much. Have a wonderful night!
