The Eclipse movie release date doesn't open until Wednesday, June 30th, but you can reserve your spot in line way before hand. Tickets for Eclipse go on sale on Fandango.com this Thursday at midnight. According to EW's Popwatch, New Moon broke records with its pre-sale tickets, making it the biggest advance seller on MovieTicket.com. It even beat out pre-sales for films such as The Dark Knight and Harry Potter. Teenage Robert Pattinson and women obsessed with vampires speak!
For the past two films, Twilight and New Moon, I did not see them until the third and second weekened they were released. Theaters were full, but it wasn't quite the audience I expected. It was an older one (and by that, I mean no teenagers and over the age of 25) and there were even couples. Everyone politely sat through the film, interested, yet not overwhelmed by Robert Pattinson's entrances and Taylor Lautner going shirtless. From people who went the first weekend though, I heard the audiences went crazy, screaming at several scenes in the movie. That's what I want! I want the true Eclipse experience among lots of Twi-Hards whom will make me even more excited about the film.
This time around, I'm not about to miss opening night. Count me in for buying tickets at midnight on Thursday. Will you buy tickets this week to? Do you plan to attend Eclipse on opening night?
