My husband began taking Acai juice, supposedly a powerful anti-oxidant. This it the first winter that he hasn't gotten a cold.
I was detoxing for heavy metals this year, so my system was a bit more vulnerable. I got a cold, but it only lasted for 6 days instead of a and 1/2 months. We both take a lot of supplements and stay away from conventional medicine :)
I would still caution that one size doesn't fit all. Some people may benefit from Acai, and others may not. There are so many other factors that add up to one's physical condition.
