Miley Cyrus’ new video ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ debuded on E! News Tuesday night, bringing on a new look, attitude and expression – not the Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) we’re used to seeing.
Miley turns from suble to sexy in ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ as she breaks free from her cage dressed in part as a larg provacative bird. Definitely not the Miley we’re used to seeing, as dance moves suggest sensuality and her fierce manner takes on Miley’s transformation in life.
Too much, too quick for Miley as she tranfers from Disney to desirable? Miley sat down with Ryan Seacrest to give us her take behind the video.
Miley agrees with the fact that it’s a sexy video but she says, “It is a sexy video but that’s not what the premise is. It’s not about being sexy and who can wear less clothes. It’s about explaining the song and living the lyrics.â€
Miley told Seacrest she feels proud of the video and believes fans will relate well with the story behind it. She has a lot of fans who have watched her grow up on TV and now she wants to relay the message that you don’t have to be one particualar way in order to fit in.Â
Miley says this is the first step towards growing up. With that being said, this definitely is a “grown up†video compared to where Miley is coming from.
So, was the video a fair reflection of what Miley is trying to portray?
