Early May at Lake Michigan

we've been so busy with life lately (lillie, growing so fast!, our travel site, etc.) that i've just not had time to do everything (gather, twitter, fb, ugh).  dear friend mona saw my photos from lake michigan  and suggested i share it here. so, friends, here's a snapshot of us at the beach in grand haven, michigan, yesterday. the wind was chilly, the sun was glinting diamonds off the small waves, and lillie (almost 8! time flies!) was full of joy, running and splashing and playing. life is good.

Looks like one of those bracing spring days at the Lake. I remember them well. We went to South Haven when I was a kid. I'll bet the water was c-c-c-cold!

Great photos and better yet, is seeing Lillie having so much fun.

I was born and grew up within walking distance (about five blocks) from Lake Michigan not too far south of Grand Haven.
