In the second round opener Los Angeles Lakers beat Utah Jazz 104-99.
Kobe Bryant scored 31 points and Pau Gasol finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds and he blocked five shots. Andrew bynum scored 8 points and 10 rebounds on an injured knee!
The Lakers took over the lead in the fourth quarter scoring 7 straight points including11 points made by Kobe in the final four minutes.
Deron Williams of Utah scored 24 points, Paul Millsap scored 16 points,Carlos Boozer scored 18 points with 12 rebounds and C.J. Miles finished with 16 points.
