Adam Lambert knows better than all but 7 other people what it feels like to come THIS close to winning it all on American Idol. And like a few of those other also-rans, he may have benefitted by not winning. Is the Kris Allen tour and album being followed like Adam's Glam Nation?

It's not an uncommon story for those "left behind" to do better than the winners. Clay Aiken and Katharine McPhee were the champs before Adam joined their runner-up ranks. Now it looks like Adam Lambert will be the most famous and successful loser in history.
That's why his comments over the weekend have such comport. He was asked by RadarOnline who he thought might win the American Idol 2010 grand prize. Adam is smart enough to know he shouldn't pick a favorite, but what he did say tells us a lot nonetheless:
“I don’t really know. I have four I think are really great singers... Michael Lynche, Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox and Casey James.
“All four of them have really strong, authentic voices and at this point it’s going to be about them differentiating themselves in the competition.â€
After Adam mentored the Top 9 last week it was apparent he was giving advice straight from the heart and based on his own fantastic experience. So by not picking one Idol (even though it looks like Casey is a lock) he's sending the message that ANYTHING can happen.
At this point all the Idols left are assured a spot on the national tour... and season 9 sure looks like we're ready to see another runner up blow the winner away long after the applause in the Kodak theater dies down...

Cook and Adam both like the singing of Lee and Crystal. though Ryan could have lost the vote for Crfystal with his makeing mountain from moleill drama. Crystal had a moment of missing her son, wanted to quit, the mood passed (all contestants have it) now mamasox back motheing the others.
