If you've read my posts about Jesse James, Tiger Woods and Tiki Barber, you know I have no patience for cheaters and the cheatees. And the same is true for Leanne Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. Both were married when they started their relationship.
Cibrian had a little dose of karma at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night. Journalists in the pressroom called out "Cheater" when he presented an award to the country group Lady Antebellum, according to Us Magazine. Too bad that part of the show wasn't televised.
Rimes also got called out on Twitter by her ex-husband Dean Sheremet. She tweeted about her one year anniversary with Cibran and Sheremet shot back, "You should feel proud of that ... Considering you were still married [to me] this time last year."
Good for Dean! Granted both Rimes and Cibran are talented in their respective fields, but I lost respect for both of them when they cheated on their spouses. Perhaps I'm being naive, but I've been cheated on and lied to before and how I wish that my boyfriend at the time had been honest with me so I could have moved on and saved myself a lot of grief.
Cibrian and Rimes met while they were filming the Lifetime movie, Northern Lights. He's an actor and Rimes is dabbling in the acting biz, so I wonder what will happen when they are involved in projects that requires extreme closeness with their co-stars. My theory is that if someone cheats once, they're likely to do it again. The same scenario may repeat itself on their future film projects.
