Just stretched out time for me (took me three subjective hours to reach the streetlight at the end of the block). Never did anything else (well, it made me sleepy), so I quit trying after the third try.

He confronts the Religious Right...and does it with humor.
It's the way we have to confront them.
There is nothing as devastating as a humorous satire.

Spot on, Bert. Humorous satire confuses them. A common trait among neocons is their lack of humor, particularly self-deprecating humor. The only "Humor" they expouse is bitter, full of hatred, & puts down those who don't agree with them.

I sometimes agree with Maher, and sometimes he's a goofball. But definitely we should legalize drugs, and health freedom for that matter! Also check out 'Time For Hemp' on American Freedom Radio -- I think it's on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 PM Central. They always have a lot of great tunes, especially reggae. Thanks for posting this!

I'm with you on the legalizing of drugs, Bert and Georgiana.

I also adore satire, especially political or religious. Ever listen to Tom Leherer's "That Was the Year that Was" from the mid-60s? Possibly one of the funniest, most biting collection of songs ever written!

I loved Leherer, i haven't thought of him in years. There was also David Frost's Programme called "That Was the Week That Was".
If you can find them, a show in England a few years ago called "Have We Got News For You!" is so funny, you miss a lot because you are laughing so much!
