If the British Government is keeping a secret about the legitamacy of Prince Charles and Camilla's wedding, we won't know until Prince Charles' death.  Saturday April 12, 2010, the British government found itself embroiled in a royal coverup. At question is the marriage of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Boyles. The British government is being accused of a royal cover-up. It seems the marriage may not be legal and the question will not be answered until Prince Charles’ death.
Prince Charles and Camilla married in a civil service five years ago. I thought it odd, that Prince Charles will not be King, and as an American, I wondered why Camilla Parker Boyles, the Duchess of Cornwall, is as high up as she can go in the royal food chain.Â
So I dug a little.
Here’s what I found. The couple Charles and Camilla were married five years ago after Lord Falconer overruled objections to a person of the royal family being married in a civil ceremonty. What happened was Lord Falconer gave his go ahead without giving legal details of its constitutionality. Now, with the death of Lord Falconer, the question has again arose.
Now in an appeal the new information commissioner has refused to appeal the case and the decision is sealed until Charles’ royal death.
Wow, talk about a royal cover-up. So? Is Prince Charles living in sin with Camilla Parker Boyles? Honestly, he cheated with her while married to Princess Diana, so does it matter?Â
It’s just a royal mystery. What fun.
Update: I stand corrected. Prince Charles will be King on the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.Â
