We visited Lake Isabella State Park last Sunday; it is located outside Shelton, WA.
On our hike, we came across this:
I hope you get to see it a bit as well as I did. It was highly worthy of a capture on film. I don't know what species the tree is, but it certainly is unique.
If you ever have the chance to visit Western Washington, try to stop in at Lake Isabella State Park. It is so peaceful... We hiked for hours and only ran into one other person!
