Ben Roethlisberger Not Charged With Sexual Assault

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not be charged with sexual assault, the District Attorney Fred Bright announced today.

Bright said the investigation—carried out by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Milledgeville police department—did not yield sufficient evidence to bring charges against Roethlisbeger.

Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault by a 20-year-old female college student who claimed the abuse occurred at a club on Mar. 5 in Milledgeville.

This is the second time that Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault.

While not criminally charged in either case, Roethlisberger could still be disciplined by the NFL.

He will meet with commissioner Roger Goodell later this week.

Big Ben needs to learn that he's not the most charming man in the room, and he needs to cut his posse loose. He also needs to learn that having sex in public bathrooms is not exactly classy.

He wasn't in there alone. This girl was just as wasted as he was and they met that night. She doesn't have any class either I am sure she was paid well for her services since she didn't want any charges pressed. Let's not make her a victim she was a willing partner and that is what the evidence showed.

The point isn't whether he did, or did not, have a consenting partner. The point is his bad judgment, not once, but twice, and the people who enable him to do it. The next time he won't be as lucky, if he's stupid enough to do it a next time.

There is a difference between evidence disproving something and a lack of evidence proving it. The girl went to the hospital with bruises, and male DA was found, but not enough to determine who it belonged to.

The point is there are real women who have been attacked and raped and this was not one of them. Did you hear the press conference. They were both going from bar to bar and getting drunker by the minute and this girl is 20 underage yet still going to all of these bars and getting drunk. Try looking at the whole picture. This girl is not a innocent victim and I am sure has been paid and will also go for a civil suit and get even more money. They were both in their own groups and she had no problem with whatever happened in that bathroom it was between both of them. Maybe she needs to learn to keep her pants on as well. Let's hope she is not as stupid the next time as well. Please don't act like this girl is a victim and keep the real victims in mind.
Even the medical examiner said he couldn't say she was attacked I didn't say nothing happened. This girl was a willing partner deal with it! It does happen it does take two to tango.

THE POINT IS NOT WHETHER THE GIRL CONSENTED. THE POINT IS THAT BIG BEN IS IN TROUBLE FOR THE SECOND TIME BECAUSE OF QUESTIONABLE BEHAVIOR OF A SEXUAL NATURE.

HE IS BESMIRCHING THE REPUTATION OF THE NFL, THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH, AND HIS STORIED FRANCHISE. HE IS ABOUT TO RUIN HIS CAREER BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF JUDGEMENT.

As an unbiased contributor on this page, I would have to say that Snoopy Fan you are overreacting a bit. There are some good people on here and some spirited conversations. If an insult flies your way, just know that you may have hit on a point that the other person may not have considered. When the person has no evidence to prove your point wrong, then they may resort to childish tactics. BUT, in no way or form should you generalize to the community as a whole. The majority of us are just trying to provide information an our opinions. I respect your opinion, and I would be grateful if you took the time to read my fully detailed article on the Roethlisberger's Alleged Rape Case.
