 Description from: http://wikileaks.org/
WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff. Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-site, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded. For further information please visit the special project website www.collateralmurder.com. Â
Â
The attack was earlier described in an official by US military officials  “There is no question that Coalition Forces were clearly engaged in combat operations against a hostile force,†Read the Official ReportHERE
The report also said “Nine insurgents were killed in the ensuing firefight. One insurgent was wounded and two civilians were killed during the firefight. “Â
The video contradicts clearly what the report said happened and it also coveys the people involved had attitudes about what they were doing one could consider disturbing. The audio is important to listen to.Â
The graphic and disturbing video, which a senior military official told the AP is authentic

Dex, how does the video contradict what the report said? And what attitudes are you referring to?
My whole family has honorably served this country back to the Revolutionary war.
Its easy for us to judge but we are not there.
And the guys were carrying AK-47's for a reason and I dont think they were using them as walking canes.
I hate this war...I love our troops.
Ditto
And this video is full of assumption and speculation. The official report states there was small arms fire prior to calling in air support, which was the reason the Apache was there and the Bradley's were on the way. Our guys followed protocol by asking for and receiving permission before engaging and they did not fire on the unarmed injured man until the van showed up. Then they asked for and received permission to engage.
