I didn't realize until I read your tagline today that you did not have health insurance. I hope you're able to get it soon under the new legislation. My sister has Tennessee's version of medicaid, but it doesn't cover prescriptions...not even her insulin. She wouldn't make it without family.
I've got some coverage through the county. I get help with doctor visits, some prescriptions and a few other things. It helps a little, but I need to see specialists and need extensive tests, and they aren't covered. So yes, I am excited about the new legislation.
I can't believe her Medicaid doesn't even cover insulin at least! How ridiculous!
