Robert Pattinson was interviewd by the UK TV show GMTV and he had a lot to say about his fame, walking the Red Carpet and his new movie, "Remember Me."

He was surprised that some fans camped out for as many as 38 hours before his appearance, and obviously the unflappable Pattinson was deeply touched by the devotion.
Clips from the movie were played and the interviewers were clearly enjoying themselves.
Invariably, comparisons to his Edward Cullen character were drawn, but Robert is clearly set on having the kind of acting success that Kristen Stewart is enjoying after getting rave reviews in "The Runaways."
But one problem that may be hard to overcome is the shocking ending to the film. No worries... no spoiler alert here. You'll have to see for yourself. But it's certainly one way to take the spotlight off the "Twilight" saga movies and shift the focus to Pattinson's growing reputation as a fine, sensitive, tremendously talented actor.
