I thought Doherty struggled but didn't feel she deserved to go home over Buzz Aldrin, guess I should have called in. Doherty is the first person this season to be sent home but I don't think it really bothered her plus her partner Ballas injured his knee during rehearsals and is going to have to be out for six weeks anyway.
Doherty said, "Dancing isn't really my thing, I did it for my dad... adding, To see my dad's face light up the way that it did and how proud he was of me just filled me with this kind of amazing emotion of thankfulness, I call that a success."
