Well, I went to see my doctor about a problem I've been having with my footsies. She noticed how worn my tennis shoes were and asked me how old they were. I told her that I didn't have a clue.
She says, "You need to get yourself some new shoes!" My hubby said, "She'll have them by the end of the day." Easier said, than done, George!!
We went to Academy because my hubby is interested in buying me the Sketchers Power Ups. At least, I think that's what you call them. The smallest size they had was a 6 and I wear a 5. Then, we went to a local Sketcher outlet. They had a 5 in white and 5 1/2 in a pretty pink, which didn't fit. The size 5 was too tight, for some reason. On to Sears we went because George said that Dr. Scholl's makes a facsimile of the Sketcher brand, but, again, no size 5!!! The smallest size they carry is a 6!! Grrrrrrr!!! Last stop was Wal-Mart because I had to get a prescription filled. I found some size 5's, but, they were too glittery for my taste.
Do these shoe stores have a conspiracy against people with small feet??? Maybe, I should shop for my tennis shoes in the kids section!! LOL
Anyway, we're going to try again on Saturday.
