Mother furious after in-school clinic sets up teen's abortion

Parents are losing rights all the time and I am surprised parents aren't up in arms.

First passing out condoms now this. will they be perfoming vasectomies and/or marriages next?

It is the NWO in which parents have no say.

I have to agree with you on this Joy. I dont have a daughter but I would be up in arms if the school did something like this to one of mine.

An abortion on a 15year old? No parental consent specifically stating it was for an abortion?

Ballard HS (City of Seattle) and the hospital plus the doctor who did it are in a lot of trouble. The girl herself is too young to sign such papers.

I do hope an extreme example is made of the school and the doctor. Shame on them.

That is beyond ridiculous. If it were me I would throw a fit that would make national news.

Anymore...KIDS rule, even when they DON'T know what's best for them. On some things they just don't have the perspective an adult does! It's time parents started acting like parents again and TALK to your kids...leave that door open wide. I do with my 11 year old daughter...I did raise a 27 and 31 year old son already and I told them the same.

That is horrible. The parents should have been involved the whole time. I wonder if they even mentioned to the girl about loving families who would adopt this baby. I wonder if they talk about abstinence.

I know, It all seemed way to easy, and the "your family doesn't even need to know" part..... is that what we REALLY want for our kids these days? To teach them to NOT have to take responsibility by hiding their actions? And then we have the nerve to wonder why they think they can get away with robbery and murder and rape and.....

I think schools should pass put condoms, help girls who want birth controll, and talk to each teen about adoption and abortion.

I have mixed feelings about this. Many parents force young girls into things the girls do not want to do and many young girls dont know that they can not be forced like that.
Many teens are forced by parents to get abortion when they dont want one, are forced to keep children they dont want and are not mature enough to have, are told they cant be on birthcontroll, things like that.

If it was my daughter Id want to know what was going on but id hold her hand and support her no matter the choice she made. Not all parents are like that and she may have had parents who would have forced her into keeping a baby she didnt want.

If she was a a pro-life advocate like her mother had said she wouldnt have had an abortion.

I personaly feel its a lot better for kids to get the right education expecaly when they have no one at home that will help them learn about this kind of thing.

I have been to many many schools and the ones with the highest rate of teen girls were the ones that teach only abstinence or have no sex ED program at all.

Not the kind of abstinence I believe in teaching.

We (as a society) are too "politically correct" to share them with our children.

Whoa, whoa, whoa..... wait a minute! Condoms? birthcontrol? Hey! someone else needs some re-education too!!!!! Condoms and birthcontrol are abortions too! Maybe on a smaller scale, but they still destroy life, and that's all that abortion is anyway. And besides this, I agree that you can't force someone into that sort of decision, to keep the baby or not.... but I think I could understand why a parent would rather do that than allow their daughter to kill. I mean, do you even know what abortion does to people? Abortion is the cause of alot of suicides and most of those victims didn't even know it! You all do realize exactly what an abortion is, right? The doctor goes into the womb and tears the child out one piece a time! you are not pro-life if you would think that it is a good decision to have an abortion, no matter what the situation is.... ok, that's not completely true, there is only one situation where you could potentially have an abortion: when you are going to die otherwise. Thats not totaly true. Many times they fetus is so small that they dont have limbs to rip appart they are nothing more then a blood clot the size of a pen head.

If you want to go with condoms being abortions then isnt a fetus nothing more then a parasite living inside you??

If you have an abortion and are not 100% sure you want to thats when you have problems with it later. Most people who feel totaly sure its the right thing to do and have support b4 and after usualy dont have mental problems after.

Why is it ok to only have an abortion if its going to kill you?? What if you knew for sure the baby was going to live but you would die?? Wouldnt you want to protect your offspring? Rember its just a baby and does not mean to hurt you. Should it be forced to die because of something it has no controll over?

Its not right to say you should only have it done if this is going to happen. No one knows for sure what will happen and unless you know what other women are going through you shouldnt judge them for it.

Pretend you were married and had 2 kids. Your husband beat you and the kids so you leave and go into hidding. You met a wonderfull man who loves you and you end up preg again only to find out hes marrried. You then learn that your phyco X has found where you are. You know for sure if he learns you are preg he will kill you and possably your kids. If he ever finds you with another baby he will kill you and your children. Cops are no help because he has not done anything wrong yet.

You know before abortion was legal they made at home abortion kits. You filled up a bottle with boling water, inserted it and BAM at home abortion. It was easy for men to force abortions on women this way. A lot of women died from it. Some would start bleeding and thinking it was normal stay home but by the time they knew something was wrong it was to late. Others would start bleed out moments after. In one case (that i know of mayb more) a woman was found currled up in a hotel room covered in blood. she started to hemorrhage and the man that was with her left her there to die. She died alone in the floor of a cheep hotel room.

If an abortion was done by a dr they did a hysterectomy. My aunt was raped by a black man once. She got preg and it was a descrace to the family. She couldnt walk around with a mixed child, it was not right (this was a long time ago). She would have no life, her child would never be accepted, and her family would be looked uppon as scumm. Of corse it was her fault it happend. She got an abortion to save her family her child and her self pain. But they couldnt do abortions so her family Dr put down she had problems and gave her a full hysterectomy. She can never have a child. She wants a child of her own and seeing happy kids running around playing with there parents breaks her heart. her being able to have children was take from her by a shelfish man and a world full of people who thought women and other races were below white men.

Abortions are going to happen no matter what anyone thinks about it. At least now women have more say then they did. At least now less women are dieing a lone because of it. At least now its done by a dr and the women are watched. At least now women can have babys after if they chose.

I kinda don't think I'd be sleeping with some guy I barely knew only to THEN find out he's married. Especially if I already have 2 children.

That's how there end up being so many unwanted pregnancies in the first place. People don't take these things serious enough.

First Of all, I really want to apologize for writing the earlier comment in anger... I couldn't write clearly because I was disgusted with how teens were being talked about, as if they were mindless creatures that had absolutely no control.
Secondly, you cannot convince me that a fetus at any stage of life is not alive. I'm afraid that I am one of those Catholics who believe that at the moment of conception the child's life is already being partially planned out. Therefore, no matter how small, I believe that if a fetus is destroyed in a human being, then it is being killed.
Thirdly, I don't understand what you meant about a fetus being a parasite....? I know that when a woman gets pregnant and that they have living, growing child within them. These are not parasites, especially because they do not intend to kill the woman, they merely grow and then the woman gives birth.
Fourthly, I have heard of only one case in which the woman who had an abortion did not regret it, but she didn't seem to be having a very happy life just the same. Other then that, I have heard of only sorrow. And, mind you, this sorrow sometimes manifested itself the moment they were done with the abortion(these were the people who weren't sure) or it struck them years and years later, building up deep inside until it became unbearable. I doubt that you really can get away with an abortion without feeling sorry about it later.... I doubt it, but I could be wrong, I do not know everything that there is to know.
Now, as to having an abortion so that you might live, I only said that this was acceptable. I said nothing about it being a great plan. I would never do it, but .... Wait... I just looked up exactly what I was talking about. Ok, it is preferred that you save the life of the child. But that is your own decision. Actually it is preferred that you try and save both as best you can, but if it is not possible, then the life of the child is "more important" for lack of a better word or phrase. Both are human lives, both are important.
I am sorry that I sounded like I was judging people for having abortions. I assure you that I was not. I realize that many people are tricked into believing that abortion was alright and I know that there are tons of different scenarios which I will not mention here due to the fact that this computer might not be able to hold so much information.
Alright, as to the particular scenario which you described, There are many things which this young woman could do. She could place her children in a safe place, or as safe as she could find and then run for her life. She could just run with her children, though I realize that this would be very difficult and fruitless. She could could stay near the police because then her husband could do nothing so long as she was near them. And, unless I am mistaken(which I have no doubt that I may be), I thought that you could file a report against someone who has merely threatened. Plus, it sounds as if she and/or her children have already been abused, so she could file against him for that too. I am not a lawyer, so don't blame me if I am erroneous please. If there were any family nearby, she could go to them, or friends. Or she could try to call on the help of complete strangers. In that predicament, I might be frazzled enough to try it. I would try all of these things and then, if they were to no avail, I will admit that I'm not sure what I would do. One more thing I will mention is that if this person is so psyco that he would do these things, then there isn't much chance of my living even if I aborted the child.
Ok, moving on. I have heard of such nasty things as you describe. However, I was wondering if we should make drugs legal, and have people handing them out at hospitals so that less people will die from infections caused by unsterilized needles and poor packaging.... I know, that may not be the best explenation, but it is something like that. You realize that abortions were not as popular before they became not only legal, but made easier as well. I will not say that I like the sound of all those terrible "solutions" which people created to have abortions illegally, but I don't think that having them available is salving any problems either....
I feel very sorry for your aunt. That is very sad, and I am very glad that our culture is not so bad as it used to be. I know that it is still pretty bad. Something she might do is adopt, there aren't as many children in the US because of abortion, but there are thousands of sweeties out in the third world countries which need parents... That Dr.... Oh, dear... I'm geting angry again...(bites tongue).

She is a huge supporter of distributing condoms and birth control in schools. She is also a big advocate of legalizing drugs. I'm actually surprised the current administration in DC hasn't hired her for something yet.
She was the Surgeon General of the United States for a short time (like just over a year I think?) but Bill Clinton fired her from his administration because she was even too far off the deep end for him!

Oh, well then no wonder she said that about the fetus, if she didn't then she'd be out of a job. lol ;) No, sad thing is that most people believe they are actually doing the right thing by doing the wrong. Not because they know its wrong, sometimes, but just because they either don't know the whole truth or because they don't want to. So I'm not slandering her for real, don't yell at me, please.

Unless you have walked in there shoes you have no clue, and no one can say they have been in there shoes because everyones life is diffrent.
When I was 15 and preg I had a totaly diffrent life then every other 16 year old preg girl has had.

That's just it, Abortion also affects someone's LIFE... a tiny innocent child who had no chance whatsoever to defend itself.

That is absolutely preposterous. Mind you if my daughter came to me and told me she were pregnant, I would be furious. Also she would not be taking the easy way out by getting an abortion. She would have the child, however the choice of whether or not to keep the child would be hers. Because there are many people out there just aching to have a baby of their own to love. I know I was one of them. The decision should be made as a family. And in my unprofessional very biased opinion, a child should not have the right to make those kinds of decisions until they are legally an adult.
