Or I should say a bird's thoughts turn to fancy!
Yesterday while I was doing the car inventory at work I noticed a male doing his "thing" trying to impress a female.
The thing is they weren't doing this "dance" on the ground but up on the energy wires. The male was flitting back and forth around the female then would lanf next to her and she must have been impressed because she flipped her tail feathers at him.
Then another male showed up and landed on the other side of the female. The two males put up a raucous noise. The female must have had enough of that and flew to the ground. The males faced off.
There there started the cat fight, ah... I mean bird fight.
First one would fly off and aim at the other then land and the other would repeat that. The first male must have been a bit more agressive because the interloper finally left and the first male then flew to the ground. I didn't go around the building to see if he met up with the female. I didn't want to interrupt them.
Ahhhh! Isn't spring nice!
