KRISTEN STEWART AND ROBERT PATTINSON BROKEN UP? SHE APPEARS DATELESS AT OSCARS, RUNAWAYS PREMIERE THIS WEEK (VIDEOS)

Robert Pattinson was a total no-show for supposed girl friend 's Kristen Steart's opening of her new film THE RUNAWAYS. Instead, she was there with pal Taylor Lautner, who recently ditched Taylor Swift, even after their budding relationship was captured in the film VALENTINE'S DAY.  So what's the buzz? The buzz is two-pringed: maybe the relationship between lesbian Joan Jett and her bandmates was too much for Pattinson to bear watching or maybe he doesn't want to be part of anything that isn't related to his career right now. In either case, he turns our as one bad boyfriend . . . or maybe not a boyfriend at all?

At the Oscars last weekend, she came without a date and presented, but not with Pattinson. In fact, when asked who she was most excited to meet at the Oscasr, she mentioned Kate Winslet and then,, later in the night, was introduced to Natalie Portman, another fave actress of hers.  At the Governor's Ball, she shook hands with the CLOSER star and replied later, "I didn't want to be in the room anymore," Stewart says. "I literally wanted to eat my own head with a fork and knife."

Is this the end for the golden couple that Stephanie Mayer's book adaptation created? Or is Pattinson just trying to make sure all the spotlight goes on Kristen, as her star rises beyond the ECLIPSE?
