While it pains me to think that celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton may be right about something, I think he may be onto something with his theory about actors Kristoffer Winters and Jeremy Renner being in a relationship.
Based on a recent blog posting by Hilton, he appears to make the assumption (no named sources are listed) that the two Hollywood stars are dating off of a Jan. 30 LA Times blog posting that reads:
"No bomb here. Actors Jeremy Renner, who played the leader of an explosives disposal unit in the critically acclaimed film "The Hurt Locker," and co-investor Kristoffer Wintersfound a buyer for their restored 1924 Greek Revival in the Hollywood Hills area after five months on the market. It sold for more than $4 million.
"The four-bedroom, 4 1/2 -bathroom two-story has a library with a bar, a wine room, an eat-in kitchen with two islands and a screening room in 5,800 square feet. There is a two-car garage, additional parking for nine cars, a swimming pool with spa and a 1,000-square-foot guesthouse witha kitchenette and office. Plus, the gated property comes with a one-year tenant paying $25,000 a month."
Hilton says, "Well, sources are guaranteeing for us that Renner and Winters are DEFINITELY an item!!" before paying homage to The National Enquirer for tipping readers off to the fact that Renner might be gay.
It should be noted that Renner, who was nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Actor" from his work in "The Hurt Locker," has been seen spending time with actress Charlize Theron.
My evaluation: Does it really matter? Unless it somehow interfered with his acting, I don't think it's a big deal. And besides, some of Hollywood's best actors are gay (see: Ian McKellen, Neil Patrick Harris).
But, what do you make of this whole Renner-Winters dating gossip? Do you believe Hilton and The National Enquirer?

And if Perez Hilton's sources were "guaranteeing" these innane allegations, don't you think they'd provide more proof than flimsy suppositions based on offensive gay stereotypes? I'm thinking there'd be photos, quotes from people who currently know him, etc. And if this did have any measure of credence the major, REPUTABLE entertainment sites such as EW or E! would've picked up on it and you KNOW TMZ would've had some proof as well.
These are all baseless, insipid wonderings by people who want to spread salacious gossip about someone to get more readers and members because of his current popularity.
The man's not gay, and it doesn't and shouldn't even matter what his sexuality is, but I haven't seen one shred of proof indicating that he is a homosexual. Shame on every single person and blog that's picked this false story up and spreading it as proof.
DUH!!!! can't wait for gather to totally um like no offense but let you know that you flagged for the wrong reason, um yeah
