As many of you know, I work at the hospital from 7p=7a. We have a beautiful courtyard just outside the Progressive Care Unit. Many of us take our breaks out there. We share this courtyard with a bevy of critters, including 2 cats (been there for years), a family of raccoons, owls, many other species of birds, turtles in the pond and a family of opossums.
The other night, I was on break and I heard a noise in the tree near where I was sitting. I looked up and saw this little fellow in the notch of the tree. As not to scare him, I quietly got up and went inside for my camera. He was still there when I came back out.
I got as close as possible, put a bit of zoom on the camera and got several pictures before he decided that my flash was just too much for his nocturnal eyes.

At one time, there were more of these critters in Portland Oregon then there were people lmbo!
