Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning will be part of an upcoming film called "The Runaways". For their roles they play a duo of seventies punk rock stars - Cherie Currie and Joan Jett. They recently sat down to discuss their film and getting the roles just right with MTV.
Stewart and Fanning went to the trouble of making sure they signed things in the movie just like the real life stars would. They studied Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, and found out both write lefty, while Fanning and Stewart are right-handed. They wanted to make sure they had the slightest little details down in case anyone noticed.
The new movie "The Runaways" will focus on the teenage careers of Jett (Stewart) and Currie (Fanning) as they try to navigate their tour schedule and record label woes. In the process they deal with an abusive manager Kim Fowley, and the movie also features an actress portraying Lita Ford. The Runaways movie starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning is due out next week on 3/19/10 in theaters. Despite it starring two insanely popular young stars it's rated R by the MPAA.
