An observation

I don't know how many American Idol fans are out there, but my partner and I watch the show religiously. For those who may be familar with it, or even watch it, it hasn't in my opinion, been as good as previous years. And of course with Simon leaving next season...well I think the show will go completely downhill.

Ever since Ellen took over Paula's spot, we have noticed something. Why does Kara sit so close to Simon. I mean to the point she looks like she will jump in his lap? Now I hate to say I'm reading something into this that might not be there, however we were both wondering, does it possibly have anything to do with the fact Ellen is gay? Is she (Kara) homophobic, or afraid the tabloids will put something there thats not? We all know how the tabloids can conjure up some real doozys. Whats your take on this?

I kind of miss Paula. Ellen is doing a pretty good job on there. Kara, well, my vote is still out on her right now.

I miss paula too. Ellen is doing better than I expected, however I still feel like she is there more for the comedy then to critique. She has no real musical background, and her opinions appear to be no better than someone observing or watching the show. Just my opinion.

This show is not my cup of tea. I do not watch it. I much prefer watching Hockey.

I use to watch Hockey many years ago. I think I enjoyed them beating the heck out of each other lol! Almost as good as watching boxing.

I love Ellen, but I do not think that she is qualified for this role.

This season is just so so.

I agree with all you said Leo. What do you think of our observation? Why do you think Kara sits so close to Simon?
