Tom Hanks slips up on live TV: Regis and Kelly Show

Two time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks appeared on “Live with Regis and Kelly” to promote "The Pacific," an upcoming war series from HBO which is set to start on March 14th. Besides talking about "The Pacific,"Hanks also spoke about a variety of other subjects.

It wasn't one of his subjects that caused a stir, it was when he mistaken addressed Kelly Ripa by the wrong name, instead calling her Kathy Lee, the former hostess of the show.... YIKES!!! Kelly immediately corrected Hanks, adding in the fact she'd been hosting the show for nine years now but Kelly's jabs at Hanks didn't stop there. She also pointed out the fact that Hanks did not win an Oscar last year... OUCH... but all in good humor.

In my opinion, that woman is a waste of space anyway. If a busy man like Tom Hanks did not keep up with which brainless blonde is occupying space in a morning show, that is not a surprise.
