Harry Potter 'Deathly Hallows' News, Release Dates

According to AceShowBiz, Gary Oldman returns as Sirius Black, though as a ghost, in the final film in the Harry Potter series. Deathly Hallows, as has been widely reported, will be split into Parts 1 and 2. Part 1 is set to be released on November 19, 2010, while Part 2 is slated for April 15, 2011. (As we saw with The Half-Blood Prince, though, these release dates are subject to change.) Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will all return to reprise their roles as Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Thanks for the news, Erin! We were worried about all the stories we've come across about cast changes, so I'm glad to hear that they're carrying on with the original cast.

I'm glad to hear of the update.
But, like James said, you got the dates wrong.
If Part one comes out in November 2011, then Part two would have to come out in April of 2012.

OoooH, I can't wait. I love the harry potter series just as much as the kids do! But even as adults it would be a fun movie, just like the return to Narnia.

Yeah! Thanks for the Harry Potter update. I can't wait to see it. My son just finished reading the book a month or so ago. I read it in about 3 weeks when it came out. Such a good book.

I like it. Split it into two movies. The wait between the Lord of the Rings trilogy just made me more excited to see the next one as it came out. The whole Harry Potter series has done great things to encourage children (and adults with the spirit of a child) to read more. I love the whole series. Have not read the books but saw the movies. Some time if I ever get a vacation I am going to stack up a bunch of so called children's books and just work my way through them. That should take ones mind off more serious stuff.
