NFL: Peyton Manning Undergoes Surgery In Chicago

Indianapolis Colts Peyton Manning recently had surgery on his neck in Chicago. For years he had experienced a pinched nerve and the Colts medical staff felt he should have procedure done immediately.

This is the second time Manning has had surgery in the past three years. In 2008 he had surgery on his left knee causing him to miss training camp.

Peyton Manning is a 4 time league MVP. He helped lead the colts to 8 playoffs, two Superbowls-winning in 2006, an set an NFL record with 7 straight 12-win seasons. His contract is up this year butÂ Colt's coach is considering resigning him.
