Ok - so it's week three, & I have yet to meet my resolutions! (tisk tisk)! Well, I still have a couple of weeks to accomplish my goals - even though in the meantime, I find myself groaning with impatience as to how difficult it has been to attain the level of fitness I feel I should be at.
No matter; I will get there, the process is just taking longer than I had hoped. Since my expectations are so high, I am sure that by the time I write the fifth resolution journal, my tone will be a lot more pleasant, and a lot less critical! Fingers crossed! lol :)-
In terms of my diet (I was hoping to incorporate more healthy choices, & less chocolate and soda), I haven't eaten any chocolate in at least a week (not that I don't have any in the fridge/pantry) and I'm interested to see how long I can go without giving in; I will be amazed if I can last another full week without eating chocolate! The only chocolate I have had has been chocolate milk.
Cutting out soda has been hard, but I am drinking a lot less of it, and I am trying to only buy caffeine-free coke. I am also trying to keep ginger-ale and tonic water around, and replace as much of the coke I usually drink with those instead (no small feat).
So, the main thing I'm lagging on is the kick-boxing. I have to admit that work has taken up all of my energies/effort, but I am determined to find a way to work around it! (I need that drill sargeant from the 'Celebrity Fit Club' teehee - no excuses, right? lol
