Trish is a playwright, poet, and essayist. In Trish's words:
"You can usually spot me by my long grey hair and my laugh or smile. My passion is writing for Positive Change. My play LUMPs (dealing with breast cancer) is just one of the ways I write for such change. My goal is to have LUMPs done in every state. If anyone is interested in bringing LUMPs to their town please feel free to contact me. (I live with a number of physical disabilities including a tracheotomy--a hole in my neck for breathing.) Every single day is a gift!"
Trish is a Member of Appalachian Writers Association, (Honored 4 years in a row by The Appalachian Writers Association in the Josefina Niggli Playwriting Awards), Associate member of the Dramatists Guild, Silver Creek Writers, McCready Writers, (several other writers and I work and with women in an assisted living home. The women are creating amazing pieces of writing), The Kentucky Women Playwright Seminar , (Seminar Leader), Advanced Kentucky Women Playwright's Seminar, (Seminar Leader)
Trish's  work with playwrights is featured in the magazine "Kentucky Living"
The following is an article found in the Kentucky Living magazine. Way to go Trish!

Trish is going to be giving away a copy of "The Rocking Chair Reader, Memories from the Attic" edited by Helen Kay Polaski to one lucky Gather member who attends the chat. This book has an essay that is written by Trish in it. This is one of the books in the Rocking Chair Reader series that Paul Harvey spoke of during his radio show saying that he kept it on his bedside table and read an essay.
