When couture lollipop company Sugar Factory needs a PR boost, they turn to Command PR to whip up a star-studded "yellow" carpet walk and party with less than two days notice. It's just another day in the life of a Hollywood PR company and the reality cameras were there to catch every overly-dramatic moment.
Kim Kardashian is the creative force behind this new E! TV series title SPINdustry and I'm already hooked.
Last year, it was all about the cake shows and the bride shows, but this year styling and PR are all the rage. I'm already addicted to the Bravo show Kell on Earth which follows the staff of Kelly Cutrone's People's Revolution (the top PR company for fashion designers.) SPINdustry is being advertised as a special, but it's obviously a set up for a series, including cliff hanger with the hard working girl giving up her life in NY in order to take over the LA office which may be invaded by the monster from Miami!
In the special, the staff at Command is charged with getting Spice Girl Mel B to promote Sugar Factory at a club event. The logistics of getting the event pulled together in 48 hours plays against the usual reality series personal dramas which include a real financial tug of war between owners Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck.
Come on E! I'd rather watch SPINdustry than anything else you have on the air with the except of The Soup and Chelsea Lately. Give the show a commitment cause I gotta see how it all turns out.
Did you watch SPINdustry? I'd love to know what you thought.

So glad you wrote about the title. Its awful, yet it depicts the show. I think these "PR shows" are portraying drama and the stupidity for more ratings. They are clearly forgetting that they are also representing themselves as well. The upper management team are as catty and incompetent as their staff. Isn't Kim their bffl? Couldn't they edit out that "background story on that one girl? This show is just like Kell on Earth, over dramatized, while unfortunately portraying the PR profession as if it is filled with unassured people. bookkeeping services
