And so rich....
When I checked my email today, there hidden in my trash folder were two emails from the FBI and one from the United Nations. Yeppers, I do feel special. Some long lost relative left me millions. Or, I guess it was three long lost relatives, since I got three emails.
The FBI emails wanted $200 for me to get $800,00.
The United Nations email was really a hoot. (And before you're worried about me actually clicking on them or on something, I have preview windows set up to see what's in spam mail. Sometimes the filter is wrong and a piece of mail is not really spam or junk.) Anyway, like I said the United Nations email was a hoot.
They understand that times are tough and people might not have the necessary funds to retrieve inheritances. So they offer three solutions:
$300 to get $500,000
$500 to get $1 million
or $1600 to get the entire inheritance (but they don't mention an amount).
I wonder how many people fall for these things. Surely by now no one does. And yet, if they didn't, the spammers would stop sending them out.
