Apolo Ohno just won bronze in the men's short track 1000 meter race. Ohno set a USA Winter Olympic History with his bronze medal tonight. Apolo Ohno broke the record for the most medals by a Team USA athlete in the winter olympics with his bronze medal tonight in the men's short track 1000 meters.
Ohno passed all skaters to enter first place when he was bumped, and wobbled a bit. Because of that, he quickly fell to last place. However, he battled through, and was able to pass two brothers to still take the bronze medal in tonight's race. He finished with a time of 1:24.128 in the men's short track 1000 meters finals.
The 2010 Winter Olympics are Ohno's 3rd Olympic appearance. Congratulations to the new all time Team USA medal winner in the winter olympics. Apolo Ohno made history tonight! He is the most decorated Team USA Winter Olympian. Apolo Ohno's bronze medal broke his tie with long-track speedskater Bonnie Blair.
Apolo Ohno now has two gold medal, two silver medals and three bronze medals through his three Olympic games appearances. This bronze marks his second of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
