well not too much of it stuck. i didnt keep using the tred mill, i still eat my candy. and all in all, not too much changed. i did however make one big change that i stuck with.
i have nearly eliminated pop from my diet. and for someone who used to drink 3-5 cans a day, that's pretty good. i replaced it with those sparkling water bottles that you can get most places. they are flavored and pretty good. not to mention come in a 1 liter bottle so i can make one last all day at work.
so i guess the push wasnt an entire waste...something decent came out of it

I did all the shoveling the past week and a half and now I'm trying to get at least 10 minutes on the Wii Fit a night....
I've dropped 6 pounds already so I really hope to keep it off.
Mooch
Soda I don't think I will ever give up....
moneywise I get very little sweets....minus those 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies that are coming in....
Extensive studies show that people in various countries had a high degree of good health when they stuck to their native diets, but when they switched to Western diets, they began to have the sams degenerative diseases that we do...malformations, skin disorders, bad teeth, etc.
My chiropractor gave me a list of 140 reasons to stay away from sugar. It's bad news! Artificial sweeteners are equally dangerous. Stevia is a natural herb, many times sweeter than sugar, and actually good for you...look for it in the health food stores. It comes in powder of liquid.
Soda, especially diet soda (because it contains artificial sweeteners of some sort) should be entirely eliminated. Good quality water is the best thing you can drink, preferably uncarbonated. Whatever you do, don't drink tap water!!
