Any honest person knows that the Republican Party has given up all pretense of honesty. They voted as an block against the stimulus package, screaming all year about how bad it is, and miming the usual talking points of socialism and other idiotic blather.
And now they are taking credit for it.
Yep, they are doing the whole ribbon cutting thing, praising how the money brought jobs and growth to their home states and districts, and handing out big checks with their own names on them (despite having voted against the money in the check).
Absolute and blatant hypocrisy. And anti-American.
This video, other videos like it, and every photograph and web shot of a Republican taking credit for the jobs and growth that THEY VOTED AGAINST should be, and will be, plastered all over the internet and in every campaign ad from the Democrats and Independents running against them from now until election day.

You mean like this:
This is not just a Republican thing. The Dems are guilty of this and More-so.
Well then there was the time that Obama wasted tax payer dollars to fly onto the aircraft carrier to do the Mission Accomplished thing and that it is the end to major combat in Iraqu.....no wait that was Bush.
Hold that thought. We cannot turn back the clock to the Bush administration, but that's the spirit I want to see in the future from the GOP when they are back in the majority and the Oval Office.
I personally don't care whether the Democrats keep their majority or not, but I cannot stand back and let the abject dishonesty of the Republican party destroy America.
America - you remember that place, right? That's the place where ALL Americans have a right to live here.
The Republican party has become worse than a joke. It has become an enabler of terrorists (by keeping us from moving forward in energy technology), communists (by giving China a leg up in innovation while holding back American ingenuity), and robber barons (by writing all the rules to give benefits to companies who move American jobs overseas, hide their profit in offshore accounts so many companies and individuals pay zero taxes, and allowing big financial institutions to get so big, incestuous, and deceptive in their management practices that they can destroy the economy and yet protect their multimillion dollar bonuses and hundreds of millions of dollars in CEO and Board compensation).
So no, Poliwonk, the Dems are NOT guilty of this moreso, the Dems are NOT doing this equally.
The Democrats may be dysfunctional because they represent a cross-section of all Americans, who you might have noticed have differing viewpoints on a myriad of issues. But the Democrats at least are trying to make this country better and help this country move forward.
The Republicans are intent on destroying this country for eveyone other than a handful of white upper middle and upper upper class Americans. Everyone else is too lazy or too non-white for them.
Yes, I know you will ignore all else and whine that I somehow just called Republicans racists. That's what Republicans always do.
In short, the Republican party has become destructive to the vast majority of Americans.
It's time to stop the charade. It's time to call the Republicans out for their dishonesty. It's time for them to take responsibility for turning surpluses into deficits, lying us into one war while causing the deaths of thousands of our soldiers because they ignored the real war, pushing our economy into a near total collapse (and taking the world with it), feeding petrostates that fund terrorists who hate us, and helping China and others pass the US in development of innovative future technologies.
Sorry, Poliwonk, but no matter how much the Republicans would love to go back to the good old days of women having no role in society but to be stuck in relationships where they are second class citizens, a handful of companies stifled the growth of local entrepreneurship, and all of us were at the whim of a "free market" in which all of the costs of pollution, labor, and health were externalized onto the American people, the world moves forward.
The Republicans clearly have no interest in taking responsibility for governing, so it is incumbent for every single one of them to resign immediately and let others take on that responsibility.
Republicans have every right not to want to take responsibilty for their actions, but they have no right to keep others from fulfilling their responsibilities.
Republicans have no right to destroy America. And that is what they are doing.
Every single Republican hypocrite in that video needs to be voted out.
That was a boring video, Maddow only needed to give 10 examples for people to get the point across, not 50 or however many that was.
Low life sons of bitches!!!!!!

Keeping their goverment job and goverment healthcare and goverment paid retirement.
At least the Dem's try to get us healthcare and save SSI so we will have something that the Repub's take as their "RIGHT"and tell us that we the people are not worthy.
Short of an all-out revolution, we want to see the government turned back over to the people and put an end to the way things are.
Term limits, bill review, fiscal responsibility, protection of the Constitution, the list is endless.
The stimulus package is a joke, and yet everyone tries to spin it and take credit. This is what makes our blood boil.
A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Wednesday also indicates that Tea Party activists would vote overwhelmingly Republican in a two-party race for Congress.
So much for that "independence" thing. In reality, the tea partiers are really just the more extreme far right end of the Republican party. If they can't get their further right wing candidate on the ballot, guess how many will vote Democrat.
Contract From America
Check it out. I think it may open your eyes a bit.
As for the movement, you and I both know that what the movement is is just the far right wing of the Republican party...the libertarian end. Their goal is to drag the mainstream Republican even further to the right. Ah, reminds of an accusation by the South that the Republican party was a "sectional" party. Isn't that ironic.
This is an example of the politics-as-usual that the Tea Party is attempting to do away with.
Representative Ron Paul showed his hypocrisy after asking the Obama Administration for three billion in funds for NASA from the economic recovery act, which he voted against. Members of the Texas delegation signed the letter, including two Republican Senators and 19 House Republicans who all voted against the recovery act in February.
"On the other side of the east metro, and the other side of the political aisle, Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann issued a statement noting the one-year anniversary of the signing of the stimulus package. It was headlined: 'Was the 'Stimulus' Really Worth a Trillion Dollars?' In a separate statement, Bachmann said she supports the $668.5 million St. Croix bridge project and was 'disappointed' it wasn't funded."
And of course there is Sarah Palin, who "was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it." Not to mention used Wasilla town funds to hire a lobbyist to bring in $27 million dollars in pork to a town smaller than my block. Also not to mention praising Alaska Representative Young for "bringing home the bacon." That is, before lying about it.
Seems hypocrisy is no stranger to the tea partiers.
