NBC Olympics 2010 Coverage...

NBC Olympics 2010 coverage is less then desirable to viewers. People around the world want to watch live coverage; however, NBC is showing many of the events after the event has already been played which is causing a lower rating for NBC this Olympics. People love to see events with live action.

Today the NBC Olympics coverage will entail curling, Men’s Ice Hockey between Finland and Belarus and also Women’s Ice Hockey between Canada and Sweden. Also covered by NBC will be the Cross Country Men’s and Women’s Sprint Final. About 8 hours after the event... what is the point, I already know the winner from the news and internet...

Personally, I'm happy with the coverage. I know that these olympics are supposed the most watched winter olympics (I think that is the case every subsequent winter olympics though, right?). But, I don't have the same interest as others. I like watching it, but am not so concerned about who wins. I really only pay attention to hockey and curling (for novelty purposes - as Michael Scott says, "no one ever really explains the rules and there are no winners or losers just poetry"). I just wish the men's hockey games had better times. USA's game against the swiss at 3pm isn't so bad, but it's the first intermission of the exciting CZE v. SVK game and it's nearly 1am.
