Yup, it passed the Virginia House of Delegates this week by a vote of 88 to 9. Â The House is dominated by Republicans, be it duly noted, but there were some Dems who voted along with them. It still needs to get through the Virginia state Senate, who are less likely to look upon this nonsense with favor.

So maybe it will soon be illegal for your boss to stick a computer chip into your head while you are napping in front of your computer terminal. Â The odd thing is, has a Virginia employer ever tried to do this thing? Well, no, not really, but you can't be too paranoid these days.....

Meanwhile, there is a 4 billion dollar hole in the state budget and the incoming Republican Governor, Bob McDonnell, Â has yet to say what he plans to do about that. Â Just thought it needed to be mentioned.
