Yesterday I had four of my stay-at-home mom friends and their daughters over for some Valentine-making fun.
I stayed up late the night before decorating and setting everything out.

I made up some examples of Valentines to give everyone some ideas.

I prepared some yummy and healthy snacks. The mini-muffins were cranberry-orange and were a big hit! I baked them right befoe the guests were scheduled to arrive and they made the house smell wonderful.

We waited anxiously for our guests to arrive.

They were all so adorable in their red and pink dresses! We quickly got to work cutting and gluing and glittering.

Here are some of the Valentines our guests made,

and some my two year old daughters made.

I even got a chance to sit down and make a Valentine for my honey.

The party was a ton of fun and we all are planning to get together again for St. Patrick's Day!

Nice photo's.
However, I'm going to make some very "fattening" goodies for the guys over the weekend....chocolate truffles, chocolate peanut butter fudge, red velvet cheesecake, and huge sugar cookie heart shaped cookies!!!!!!! Plus, I got pretty baskets and cellophane wrap to wrap everything. The kid absolutely hates Valentine's Day....well, he's 22, no girlfriend, a computer "nerd." Soooo, Mom's gotta come to the rescue with some surprises up her sleeve!!!!
Thanks for sharing the great photos!
